A NEW FLYING DESTINATION TO ENJOY

 

AERONAUTICAL INFORMATION

PROCEDURES

AIRPLANES

ARRIVALS:
Inbound aircraft will proceed from the obligatory reporting points N (Camping Frontera at La Farga de Moles), NE (Torres d'Alàs) and S (Building and open mine near Castellar de Tost), avoiding overflying urban nucleii and will join the appropriate traffic pattern. Aircraft belonging to A category will enter the pattern at 500 ft AGL and B category at 1000 ft AGL.

From N point, inbound aircraft will arrive at the visual point (monasterio de Sant Sadurní de Tavèrnoles) heading 182° at their appropriate altitudes. They will then join the traffic pattern.

From NE point, inbound aircraft will join the pattern at the visual point (Ermita de Sant Antoni) heading 257° at the assigned altitudes. They will then join the traffic pattern.

From S point, inbound aircraft will arrive at the visual point (after Palanca bridge) heading 27° at the assigned altitudes. They will then join the traffic pattern.

After landing, they will expedite runway clearance.

DEPARTURES:

RWY 03:
After take-off, outbound aircraft with destination N will fly to Monasterio de Sant Sadurní de Tavèrnoles visual reference point, heading 44°. Outbound aircraft to NE and S, after take-off, they will join the pattern and fly to their exit points.

RWY 21:
After take-off, southbound aircraft will fly to S point heading 207°. Aircraft flying to NE and N, after take-off, they will join the pattern and fly to their exit points.


HELICOPTERS

ARRIVALS:
Inbound helicopters will proceed from the obligatory reporting points N (Camping Frontera at La Farga de Moles), NE (Torres d'Alàs) and S (Building and open mine near Castellar de Tost), as directly as possible, avoiding the overflight of population center, maintaining 500 ft AGL.

N Point: Fly to visual point (monasterio de Sant Sadurní de Tavèrnoles)
heading 182°. They will then fly to visual point (Aravell) heading 255°, to land on a heading of 174°.

NE Point: They will reach visual point (monasterio de Sant Sadurní de Tavèrnoles) heading 296° to proceed as in N point.

S Point: Fly direct to runway on a heading of 26°.

Entry - Exit - Escape headings from the heliport, for the last 255 meters before the heliport safety area border are:
- 119-299 (headings 12-30) main entry (12) and exit (30)
- 149-329 (headings 15-33) emergency escape from main entry (15) and alternative entry (33)

DEPARTURES:
Helicópteros will take-off via the apron in the same heading of the entry routes until reaching 500 ft AGL.


OBSERVATIONS

Eastward traffic pattern only.
Gliders always have the priority, and the rest of aircraft will give way. Under no circumstance must the glider traffic pattern be crossed.

TAXIING

Aircraft will enter the apron from the maneouver area via B Gate, and will taxi via the "N" o "E" taxiways depending on their assigned parking slots.

Aircraft will exit the apron via A Gate, following the C taxiway.

No taxiing clearance is required. Always monitor 122.20 MHz. Contact on 131.60 frequency with the Airport Operations staff for receiving parking instructions


REFUELING

Refueling procedure will be done via G taxiway in a counter clock-wise fashion, parking next to the designed area. Airport personnel will be providing this service.

The user will then head to the Operations Office (Control Tower 1st floor ) in order to pay the purchase amount. A dispatch note and/or invoice will be provided.

Payment can be made in cash or with a credit card.
